{"id":12812,"date":"2019-05-20T09:48:12","date_gmt":"2019-05-20T13:48:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/hulu-takes-u-s-rights-lightboxs-weinstein-doc\/"},"modified":"2019-05-20T12:04:56","modified_gmt":"2019-05-20T16:04:56","slug":"hulu-takes-u-s-rights-to-lightboxs-weinstein-doc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/hulu-takes-u-s-rights-to-lightboxs-weinstein-doc\/","title":{"rendered":"Hulu Takes U.S. Rights to Lightbox\u2019s Weinstein Doc"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hulu has picked up the U.S. rights to <em>Untouchable<\/em>,\u00a0Lightbox\u2019s documentary feature about the Harvey Weinstein scandal.<\/p>\n<p>The doc charts Weinstein\u2019s rise in the film industry and his subsequent fall amidst a barrage of allegations of abuse, sexual harassment, rape and corruption that fueled the #MeToo and Time\u2019s Up movements. <em>Untouchable<\/em>, which premiered at Sundance 2019, is directed by multiple BAFTA nominee Ursula McFarlane and produced by two-time Academy Award winner Simon Chinn and his Emmy Award-winning co-founder of Lightbox, Jonathan Chinn, together with Poppy Dixon.<\/p>\n<p>Embankment will handle <em>Untouchable<\/em>\u2019s theatrical rollout in international markets prior to its premiere on Hulu.
