{"id":12794,"date":"2019-05-14T11:14:03","date_gmt":"2019-05-14T15:14:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/slender-man-untold-stories-sells-internationally\/"},"modified":"2019-05-14T12:49:01","modified_gmt":"2019-05-14T16:49:01","slug":"slender-man-the-untold-stories-sells-internationally","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/slender-man-the-untold-stories-sells-internationally\/","title":{"rendered":"Slender Man: The Untold Story Sells Internationally"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Red Arrow Studios International has secured a raft of sales for the true-crime documentary <em>Slender Man: The Untold Story<\/em>, including a deal with Nine Network in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The two-hour doc, produced by Dorsey Pictures, a Red Arrow Studios company, for Reelz in the U.S., has also been acquired by SVT in Sweden, TV2 in Norway, VTM in Belgium and RTS for French-speaking Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>The doc is about a fictional internet character, Slender Man, who allegedly drove two 12-year-old girls to kill. Billed as \u201cthe internet version of a campfire ghost story,\u201d Slender Man is a featureless, homicidal creature shaped like a tall, thin man who the girls became obsessed with, leading them to lure their friend into the woods and stab her.<\/p>\n<p><em>Slender Man: The Untold Story<\/em>, which bowed in the U.S. in January, documents the case and trial, and includes exclusive interviews from police, lawyers, witnesses and psychologists involved in the case.<\/p>\n<p>Bo Stehmeier, president at Red Arrow Studios International, said: \u201cThis hugely intriguing and gripping documentary helps answer the complex questions behind a case which captivated headlines in 2014.
