Stevie Moore<\/em>, a feature documentary about the reclusive musician.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of its world premiere at the Sheffield Doc Festival, Fremantle already is selling <em>Cool Daddio: The Second Youth of R. Stevie Moore<\/em> worldwide. The 90-minute doc explores the life of the underground music legend and self-proclaimed recluse R. Stevie Moore. Over the years, Moore has recorded more than 400 albums in his bedroom and influenced such musicians as the lead guitarist of The Strokes, Albert Hammond Jr.; American multi-instrumentalist, Ariel Pink; MGMT\u2019s James Richardson; and the lead singer of The Charlatans, Tim Burgess.<\/p>\n<p>Written and directed by Imogen Putler and Monika Baran, <em>Cool Daddio: The Second Youth of R. Stevie Moore\u00a0<\/em>is a Spring Films production in association with Onsight. Fremantle is handling the global distribution rights for the documentary.<\/p>\n<p>Angela Neillis, senior VP of non-scripted content, international, at Fremantle, said: \u201cSpring Films are renowned for their ability to tell captivating stories, so we\u2019ve no doubt their portrayal of the legendary R. Stevie Moore will capture audiences around the world. R. Stevie Moore is one of the greatest unsung musicians of the 20th century and unlike any other artist in the industry. The film has been chosen to launch at the upcoming Sheffield Doc Festival, which is a huge testament to not only the quality of the show, but also R.
