{"id":12757,"date":"2019-05-08T10:59:28","date_gmt":"2019-05-08T14:59:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/paramount-network-expands-ink-master-franchise\/"},"modified":"2019-05-08T12:55:07","modified_gmt":"2019-05-08T16:55:07","slug":"paramount-network-expands-ink-master-franchise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/paramount-network-expands-ink-master-franchise\/","title":{"rendered":"Paramount Network Expands Ink Master Franchise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paramount Network is growing its <em>Ink Master<\/em> franchise across multiple platforms, with a two-season renewal of the original tattoo competition series leading the expansion.<\/p>\n<p>The network has also ordered a new spin-off series,\u00a0<em>Ink Master: Grudge Match<\/em>, and launched a stand-alone <em>Ink Master<\/em> channel on YouTube, which will serve as the new home for all video content from the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>Season 12 of <em>Ink Master<\/em>, hosted by Dave Navarro, will be titled <em>Ink Master: Battle of the Sexes<\/em> and is slated to premiere on Tuesday, June 11, at 10 p.m. The new 16-episode season will feature male and female teams of artists competing against each other to win $100,000, an editorial feature in <em>Inked<\/em> magazine and the <em>Ink Master<\/em> title. Season 13 is slated to premiere in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Set to premiere this fall, the new series <em>Ink Master: Grudge Match<\/em> will see former <em>Ink Master<\/em> contestants hash out old rivalries and compete against each other again. Former <em>Ink Master<\/em> champions Ryan Ashley (season eight), DJ Tambe (seasons nine and ten) and Cleen Rock One (season 11) will serve as judges.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ink Master<\/em> and <em>Ink Master: Grudge Match<\/em> are produced for Paramount Network by Truly Original (<em>Deal or No Deal<\/em>, <em>Swamp People<\/em>, <em>The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/em>) with Glenda Hersh, Steven Weinstock and Andrea Richter serving as executive producers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe popularity of tattoo culture is at an all-time high, so I am thrilled to expand the incredibly successful <em>Ink Master<\/em> franchise across multiple platforms and touchpoints for our fans,\u201d said Keith Cox, president of development and production for Paramount Network and TV Land. \u201cEach new season of <em>Ink Master<\/em> brings forth heightened interpersonal drama and the stakes will be raised yet again in season 12\u2019s <em>Battle of the Sexes<\/em> and the fall premiere of <em>Grudge Match<\/em>.
