BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit has won an Apple commission for Prehistoric Planet<\/em>, a docuseries about the last days of the dinosaurs from Jon Favreau (Iron Man<\/em>, The Lion King<\/em>) and Mike Gunton (Planet Earth II<\/em>).<\/p>\n

For Prehistoric Planet<\/em>, Favreau uses CGI to take viewers back 66 million years ago to explore the unique wonders the dinosaurs experienced before their extinction. Produced by BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit,\u00a0Favreau\u00a0and Gunton\u00a0executive produce the docuseries and are supported by series producer\u00a0Tim Walker\u00a0and two-time Academy Award winner\u00a0Andrew R.
