Hosts Alvin Leung, a Michelin three-star chef, and <em>MasterChef Canada<\/em>\u00a0winner Eric Chong will create special dishes as they take viewers through China, Malaysia, Thailand and Dubai.<\/p>\n<p>Anne Chan, COO of CJ E&amp;M HK, said: \u201cThe Belt and Road initiative is a highly relevant topic to the international audience today. We are thrilled to work with our partner CICC to create the show and to bring new stories with fresh and lifestyle angles to the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Homestay in China<\/em>, which has been commissioned by CICC and Sina Studios, is a six-part series that will feature international artists, designers and celebrities on an exotic homestay journey with local counterparts. Together, they\u2019ll explore, seek inspiration and collaborate on artistic moments.<\/p>\n<p>Both\u00a0<em>Wok the World: Unearthed Rice Story<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Homestay in China<\/em>\u00a0will premiere on tvN in Asia, as well as on a number of platforms in China this October. The programs will also be distributed in Africa and the Middle East via OTT and linear platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Further, CJ E&amp;M HK has partnered with Astro\u00a0to co-produce <em>Get it Beauty on the Road<\/em> in Malaysia for a Raya special edition. Group M\u2019s Motion Content Group became CJ E&amp;M HK&#8217;s new production partner on the show, which will see Korean TV personality Kim Jung-min return as the host. K-beauty expert Kim Ki-soo and TV presenter Nadiyah Shahab are returning as well.
