BBC Two has commissioned a trio of new factual-entertainment series that range from the adventurous to the intellectually challenging and to complex current affairs.<\/p>\n
A competitive series set in the Alaskan wilderness, The Claim<\/em> features six British couples who have to not only contend with the region\u2019s sub-zero temperatures\u00a0but also its wild bears and other assorted predators. The couples will compete to become the chosen pair to inherit the last five acres of land claimed under the American Homestead Act.<\/p>\n Presented by Dara O Briain, The Family Brain Games<\/em> follows eight families as they battle it out in a series of challenges meant to test their intelligence in such areas as communication, technology and strategy.<\/p>\n Lastly is the tentatively titled current affairs series Who Should Get a British Passport?<\/em>, which takes a look at Great Britain\u2019s immigration system. At the center of the show are immigration lawyers from around the country, who are endeavoring to vet and secure visas for their clients.<\/p>\n Patrick Holland, BBC Two Controller, said: \u201cI am delighted to announce these new commissions.
