ZDF Enterprises is offering the documentary series WWII: Battles for Europe<\/em> in time for the 75th anniversary of the start of the D-Day landings.<\/p>\n

Co-produced by ZDF and Impossible Factual, the 8×50-minute series wrapped production in the fall. It focuses on WWII\u2019s Western Front, from D-Day to the Allies\u2019 crossing of the Rhine.<\/p>\n

WWII: Battles for Europe<\/em> includes eyewitness accounts, interviews with veterans from both sides of the conflict and rare archival materials. International experts will classify the battles of the Western Front based on their historical and human significance, and graphic representations will explain how the war played out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
