{"id":12176,"date":"2019-01-30T10:54:53","date_gmt":"2019-01-30T15:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/bbc-scotland-commissions-titles-firecracker-scotland\/"},"modified":"2019-01-30T11:57:02","modified_gmt":"2019-01-30T16:57:02","slug":"bbc-scotland-commissions-titles-from-firecracker-scotland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/bbc-scotland-commissions-titles-from-firecracker-scotland\/","title":{"rendered":"BBC Scotland Commissions Titles from Firecracker Scotland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Firecracker Scotland has received four series commissions for BBC Scotland, a brand-new channel that is set to launch on February 24.<\/p>\n<p>Among the titles commissioned by BBC Scotland is <em>Mini Disco Divas<\/em>, which takes a look inside the gym halls and community centers of Scotland, where schoolgirls and boys are swept up in a competitive freestyle dance craze.<em> Rogue to Wrestler<\/em> goes behind the scenes of the Insane Championship Wrestling headquarters in Glasgow, and follows eight wrestlers as they\u2019re trained by ICW founder Mark Dallas and his team.<\/p>\n<p>BBC Scotland also ordered from Firecracker Scotland <em>#BumpBirthBaby<\/em> and <em>Getting Hitched, Asian Style<\/em>. The former follows moms and moms-to-be as they film their own stories for social media, while the latter centers on Saffron Events, a prestigious wedding planning company that caters to Scotland\u2019s Asian community.<\/p>\n<p>Elspeth O\u2019Hare, creative director of Firecracker Scotland, said: \u201cWe are delighted to be making this range of brilliant series, all of which have that unique Firecracker mix of humor and warmth. It kicks off a really exciting year for Firecracker Scotland.
