Throughout the show, the bakers\u2019 skills are tested with the task of designing the desserts based on children\u2019s drawings.<\/p>\n<p><em>Best Cake Wins<\/em> is executive produced by Mike Sheerin and Tanya Linton. Chris Thinn is series producer and Bobby Janic serves as director. BYUtv in the U.S., which had acquired the first season of the show, has pre-bought the latest installment ahead of delivery. Andra Duke and Jim Bell are overseeing production on behalf of BYUtv.<\/p>\n<p>Solange Attwood, executive VP at Blue Ant International, said: \u201cWe are entering an important year for Blue Ant International\u2019s commissioning strategy, which will see us making significant investments that we know will diversify our content offering. Our strategy to fully fund globally-relevant, long-running and returnable series by top-tier producers, will allow us to hand select the high-quality programming we know our buyers are looking for worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mike Sheerin, co-CEO at Architect Films, added: &#8220;Producing <em>Best Cake Wins<\/em> with the Blue Ant International team has been a fantastic experience from both a business perspective as well as a creative one.
