It was suspected that Durst may have killed Berman to prevent her from telling police about his wife Kathleen\u2019s disappearance from New York in 1982. The brutal killing of Durst\u2019s neighbor, Morris Black, is looked into as well. The two-part special event will air on Monday, January 21, and Tuesday, January 22, at 9 p.m., on Investigation Discovery.<\/p>\n<p>Produced for Investigation Discovery by American Media and Jupiter Entertainment, <em>Robert Durst: An ID Murder Mystery<\/em> will feature all-new and exclusive interviews with Jim and Sharon McCormack, Kathleen\u2019s brother and sister-in-law; Ruth Mayer and Ellen Strauss, Kathleen\u2019s friends; Dick DeGuerin, Durst\u2019s defense attorney; and Susan Criss, the former judge who presided over the 2003 trial for the murder of Morris Black where Durst was acquitted.<\/p>\n<p>Durst, whose story was previously explored in HBO\u2019s <em>The Jinx<\/em> documentary series, has maintained his innocence.
