Missy Birns-Halperin has joined National Geographic as executive VP of global talent strategy.<\/p>\n

Birns-Halperin will work closely with the teams already in place who serve as the company\u2019s point of contact with an array of talent, including explorers, photographers, channel talent, digital talent, scientists and authors. Additionally, she will work closely with membership, marketing and digital teams to continue to evolve National Geographic Partners\u2019 efforts in cultivating its brand “super-fans.”<\/p>\n

Prior to National Geographic, Birns-Halperin was the executive VP of talent relations for FOX Broadcasting Company, a responsibility she held for nearly 30 years.<\/p>\n
