The series was commissioned by FX, which has first-run North American rights, in partnership with Hulu. FX has committed to a minimum of 30 episodes, with the series scheduled to debut in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Hulu is the exclusive streaming home for new episodes of the series the day after they air. Red Arrow Studios International will launch the series to the global market at MIPCOM 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Henrik Pabst, the president of Red Arrow Studios International, said, \u201c<em>The Weekly<\/em> is set to be a landmark\u00a0narrative news\u00a0series for 2019, and will deliver compelling U.S. and international stories that go beyond the news, and reveal the workings of one of the world\u2019s great news organizations.
