It will continue to follow petrol heads Will Trickett\u00a0and\u00a0Gus Gregory\u00a0as they go hunting for bargain-bucket cars that most people would avoid in order to fix and flip them for a profit.<\/p>\n<p>Elena Anniballi, the director for\u00a0BLAZE,\u00a0said,\u00a0\u201c<em>Flipping Bangers<\/em> was a big hit in its premiere outing on BLAZE earlier this year, quickly becoming the third highest rated show on the channel among adult men, with viewers drawn to the natural chemistry between Will and Gus, and their passion and expertise in giving once-loved car classics a new lease of life. We are thrilled to bring this exciting car format back to BLAZE viewers for a second series, and in doing so further build the channel\u2019s reputation for the best motoring programming in free-to-air homes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Just Might\u2019s Dan Allum, executive producer on the series, added, \u201cI wanted to make a series that would connect with ordinary motorists who love cars but don\u2019t have much spare money. The massive success of <em>Flipping Bangers<\/em> series one shows we are doing something right. Amongst men of a certain age, there\u2019s huge nostalgia for cars that might seem \u2018uncool\u2019 today, but we celebrate the quirky with the mainstream. I\u2019m glad to report an aged Austin MG Maestro will be featuring this time alongside cars like the Audi TT and BMW Z3.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul Heaney, the CEO of TCB Media Rights, remarked,<em>\u00a0<\/em>\u201cBLAZE and our friends in France, RMC D\u00e9couverte, have shown solid commitment to this series after such a successful first run.
