The new order brings the number of commissioned episodes to 293 to date. <em>Live PD<\/em> returns for season three on September 21 at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Live PD<\/em> has tapped into the cultural zeitgeist in ways we never imaged,\u201d said Elaine Frontain Bryant, the executive VP and head of programming for A&amp;E. \u201cOur viewers are passionate and are truly engaged with the show. In fact, they have helped law enforcement agencies find missing children and wanted fugitives. We want to extend our thanks to our loyal viewers who have dubbed themselves the \u2018Live PD Nation,\u2019 along with the communities and law enforcement agencies that have welcomed our cameras into their neighborhoods.
