Produced by Studio Ramsay, the show will expand on the themes explored in Ramsay\u2019s hit U.K. series <em>Gordon\u2019s Great Escapes<\/em>. The program combines Ramsay\u2019s passion for exploration and adventure with a food competition. Meanwhile, <em>The Curiosity of Jeff Goldblum<\/em> is a 12-part series that sees the titular host explore the extraordinary science behind the world\u2019s most \u201cordinary\u201d things.<\/p>\n<p>Other commissions include <em>Hostile Planet<\/em> from Guillermo Navarro. Hosted by Bear Grylls, the six-part docuseries looks at how volatile Mother Nature can be. Julianna Margulies was tapped for the scripted series <em>The Hot Zone<\/em>.\u00a0Premiering in early 2019, the two-hour special <em>Inside the Internet<\/em>\u00a0and the six-episode unscripted\u00a0miniseries, <em>1989: The Year That Made the Modern World<\/em>,<em>\u00a0<\/em>will provide background on how the internet began to alter our lives.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Nat Geo is bringing back <em>StarTalk<\/em> for a fourth run. The 20-episode season, hosted by Neil DeGrasse Tyson, will include interviews with Goldblum, Al Gore, George R.R. Martin, Patricia Cornwell, Anna Deavere Smith and the late Anthony Bourdain. <em>One Strange Rock<\/em> returns for a second season, with production set to begin in February 2019.
