UKTV’s entertainment channel Dave has ordered a second installment of Yianni: Supercar Customiser<\/em>, an original series presented by famed car wrapper Yianni Charalambous.<\/p>\n

The 20×30-minute sophomore season will continue to follow the titular social media sensation\u2014who has more than 1 million subscribers on YouTube\u2014as he showcases his customizations for entertainment and sports personalities. The series is made by Barcroft Productions, with Peter Wyles serving as executive producer. It has been one of the most-watched shows on streaming service UKTV Play this year.<\/p>\n

Charalambous commented: \u201cI had a fantastic time filming series one and am so excited to be back for a second series on Dave. I like to push myself when working on projects and series one went down so well [that] I need series two to be even better. It\u2019s shaping up to include more extraordinary cars being transformed by my wonderful team. I can\u2019t wait for everyone to see the results!\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilary Rosen, UKTV’s deputy director of commissioning, noted: \u201cYianni has star quality. He\u2019s a truly engaging new talent and Barcroft delivered a superb first series. I\u2019m delighted to be working with them again and I\u2019m looking forward to heading back to the garage and seeing what Yianni and his team are planning to deliver this time around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luke Hales, Dave’s channel director, stated: \u201cYianni\u2019s energy and the characters at the garage proved to be must-see TV for a whole host of new viewers for Dave. Returning to the garage, we will see how life has changed for Yianni as his profile and that of his clients continues to grow. Expect to see some wraps that will blow the doors off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wyles added: \u201cWe are really excited to be back for another series. Yianni\u2019s infectious personality has resonated with a whole new audience on Dave, while also giving his own loyal followers an opportunity to see much more of him.
