Banijay Group’s IWC has been commissioned to produce another 6×60-minute season of Britain\u2019s Most Historic Towns<\/em> for Channel 4 in the U.K.<\/p>\n

Britain\u2019s Most Historic Towns<\/em>, hosted by Professor Alice Roberts, explores key periods in the U.K.’s history. The second installment of the docuseries will look at the Plantagenet, Stuart, Edwardian, Georgian, Civil War and World War periods by visiting historic sites around the country. The freshman season was a ratings success when it aired earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Banijay Rights is handling the international distribution of Britain\u2019s Most Historic Towns<\/em>‘\u00a0format and finished programs.<\/p>\n

Shaminder Nahal, Channel 4’s commissioning editor, remarked: \u201cI loved the way series one of Britain\u2019s Most Historic Towns<\/em> brought the past alive with warmth, wit and masses of detail, and I\u2019m looking forward to what Alice Roberts and the team find in six more fascinating places in Britain.\u201d<\/p>\n
