Reality producer A. Smith & Co. Productions has appointed former USA Network executive Sara Cohen as the VP of development.<\/p>\n

In her new role, Cohen will be directly responsible for developing genre-spanning content across both the A. Smith & Co. Entertainment and Dox divisions and managing all aspects of the development process from creation to finish. Cohen hails from SYFY\/USA Network, where she spent three years as the director of alternative development and programming. She has also worked at MTV Networks.<\/p>\n

In addition, Kysha Mounia was promoted to the role of director of development. She will continue as supervising producer on the six-time NAACP Award-winning music documentary series\u00a0Unsung<\/em>. Mounia will also continue to create new formats and series for the A. Smith & Co. Dox division. She joined A. Smith & Co. in 2007 as a production supervisor working on TV One\u2019s\u00a0Unsung<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Both Cohen and Mounia will report to Rupert Dobson, the senior VP of development.<\/p>\n
