Renowned Films has appointed Channel 4 alum Mark Raeburn as chief operating officer, while also tapping BBC Three’s Lizzie Wingham as senior development executive.<\/p>\n
In his newly created role, which is effective immediately, Raeburn will manage all operational activity at Renowned, including strategy, legal and human resources. He will lead development at the company and bolster its plans for formatted fact-ent and factual programming.<\/p>\n
Before this appointment, Raeburn was head of content finance at Channel 4. Wingham, meanwhile, previously served as deputy editor and in-house executive for BBC Three, where her credits include Amazing Humans<\/em>.<\/p>\n Max Welch, co-founder and creative director of Renowned, stated: \u201cWith the company\u2019s rapid growth in the U.K. and recent expansion into the U.S., a new major U.S. prime-time series going into production for Bravo (Backyard Envy<\/em>), a feature documentary underway for Sky (Generation Grime<\/em>), a brand-new 7:30 p.m. series for Channel 4 (The Peng Life<\/em>) and a three-part production for BBC3 digital (What\u2019s Changed<\/em>), we\u2019re thrilled to welcome Mark to the team to help manage Renowned\u2019s ever-growing slate of exciting content.
