Savage will help the junior MythBusters learn how to separate fact from fiction with experiments involving driving, explosions and more. The 10-episode show is scheduled to premiere on Science Channel in late 2018.<\/p>\n<p><em>MythBusters Jr.<\/em> is being made for Science Channel by Beyond Productions. John Luscombe is executive producing for Beyond, while Wyatt Channell will serve as executive producer for Science Channel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdam Savage is a true American original, a singular talent who inspired a new generation of MythBusters and will now get a chance to mentor a remarkable group of kid geniuses,\u201d said Nancy Daniels, the chief brand officer for Discovery and Factual. \u201c<em>MythBusters<\/em> is an iconic series and to be able to expand its roster in spectacular style with <em>MythBusters Jr.<\/em> is something that we are proud to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m so excited to be returning to Discovery to work with these kids on a new incarnation of the show I love so much,\u201d added Savage. \u201cTo be able to confront them with great questions and the resources to answer them is such a dream.
