The half-hour episodes will cover athletes in 12 countries. <em>Destino Rusia 2018<\/em> premieres on HBO Latin America and HBO Europe this April.<\/p>\n<p><em>Destino Rusia 2018<\/em> is executive produced by Luis F. Peraza, Roberto R\u00edos, Paul Drago and Gabriela Remirez for HBO Latin America and Miguel Salvat and Hanka Kastelicova for HBO Europe. The series is being produced by Eulogio Romero.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00edos, HBO Latin America\u2019s corporate VP for original production, said, \u201cWe are very excited about this unprecedented collaboration between HBO Latin America and HBO Europe. After producing <em>Destino <\/em><em>South Africa<\/em> and <em>Destino <\/em><em>Brazil<\/em> in 2010 and 2014, now for the first time we are coming together to produce a global original documentary series providing a unique, compelling, intimate look at soccer and the World Cup, an event that brings the whole world together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Salvat, commissioning editor of original programming at HBO\u00a0Espa\u00f1a, says: \u201cHBO Europe is thrilled to be collaborating for the first time with our colleagues from Latin America, who previously created two successful <em>Destino<\/em> series on the World Cups in South Africa and Brazil.
