Plimsoll Productions has acquired Jobim Sampson\u2019s Bearhug TV, with Sampson becoming creative director of Plimsoll Wales.<\/p>\n
In his new position, Sampson\u00a0will develop and produce unscripted programming with a concentration on specialist factual series in the U.K. He will\u00a0work out of Cardiff under James Smith, the head of Plimsoll Wales.<\/p>\n
Sampson previously worked with Plimsoll as an exec producer on Bringing Home Baby<\/em> for BBC Wales. Throughout his career, he has executive produced for a number of non-scripted channels in the U.S. and U.K.<\/p>\n Andrew Jackson, the president of international production for Plimsoll, remarked: \u201cPlimsoll is committed to building the Welsh office and we\u2019re thrilled to have Jobim join us.
