Blue Ant Media’s Northern Pictures has made changes to its management team, including founder Sue Clothier taking on the newly created position of head of content and production.<\/p>\n
In addition, Peter Anderson was appointed managing director of Northern Pictures. Anderson will also serve as senior VP of commercial finance for Blue Ant Media\u2019s global production division in order to help support and expand the company\u2019s production businesses, which include NHNZ, Beach House Pictures, Antenna Pictures, Blue Ant Canada and Omnia Media.<\/p>\n
Both Clothier and Anderson will work out of Northern Pictures’ Sydney office.<\/p>\n
Catherine Nebauer will continue to oversee Northern Pictures\u2019 kids’ business, while Karina Holden remains head of factual. Both will report to Anderson.<\/p>\n
Sam Sniderman, the executive VP of production at Blue Ant Media, said: \u201cOver the last seven years, Sue has led Northern Pictures to creative and financial success. Although Sue has a great commercial acumen, she is most passionate about developing and producing her own slate of content. As such it makes sense to bring in additional resources to allow that to happen, and we are delighted to be able to do so, both for Sue and for the company.\u201d<\/p>\n
Clothier noted: \u201cWhen I started Northern Pictures, the idea was to create high-quality content that has the capacity to make a positive difference in people\u2019s lives. Over that time, we\u2019ve produced over 260 hours of content with some 70 hours currently in production for Australia and the rest of world. Making great content takes a great team and I\u2019ve had the privilege of working alongside so many talented colleagues. I\u2019m pleased that quality content that matters continues to be at the heart of Northern Pictures’ vision.<\/p>\n
