CMJ Productions II is launching its first offices in Toronto and Los Angeles, while appointing a pair of execs to the company’s content development team.<\/p>\n
Nicole Hamilton was named head of development in Toronto and Lucie Jourdan becomes executive producer for the West Coast, effective immediately.<\/p>\n
Hamilton is taking over for Lesley Jacobi, who is on a year-long maternity leave. She most recently served as VP of development for Peace Point and as senior director of factual at Temple Street.<\/p>\n
Jourdan’s previous credits as executive producer include OWN\u2019s Six Little McGhees<\/em>, MSNBC\u2019s Sex Slaves: Texas Rescue<\/em> and TLC\u2019s The Virgin Coaches<\/em>. Before this appointment, she was senior VP of development for M2 Pictures.<\/p>\n Judith Beauchemin, the president of CMJ, stated: \u201cLooking to capitalize on the momentum CMJ Productions has enjoyed in the highly competitive network originals space, we are very excited to have Nicole and Lucie join our organization and help us expand our reach into the creative communities of Toronto and Los Angeles.
