The global event series, from National Geographic Studios and showrunner Scott Boggins (<em>The Circus: Inside the Greatest Political Show on Earth<\/em>), will premiere on Monday, January 15, at 9 p.m. It will air globally in 171 countries and 45 languages in early 2018.<\/p>\n<p><em>Chain of Command<\/em> includes a rare on-camera sit-down with General Joseph Dunford Jr., the 19th chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. From the Pentagon to the front lines in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Niger and South America, as well as the ISIS recruiting ground of Trinidad and Tobago, viewers will see firsthand how decisions made at the Pentagon have a direct impact on U.S. service members on the ground, fighting to protect America and its allies from radicalized extremists. <em>Chain of Command<\/em>\u00a0is produced by National Geographic Studios for National Geographic channels. Jeff Hasler, Brian Lovett and Boggins are executive producers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe couldn\u2019t think of a more natural fit to narrate our series about America\u2019s real military heroes than Chris Evans, one of America\u2019s favorite big-screen action heroes,\u201d said Tim Pastore, the president of original programming and production at National Geographic. \u201c<em>Chain of Command\u00a0<\/em>is the quintessential National Geographic nonfiction series, which uses the power and the trust of the yellow border to gain incredible inside access to places most organizations not only can\u2019t go\u2014but won\u2019t go.
