IM Global Television and France-based Newen have signed a joint venture agreement to create original content.<\/p>\n
Under the joint venture deal, the companies will create original content across all platforms globally. The agreement was negotiated on behalf of Phil Gurin, IM Global Television\u2019s president of unscripted and alternative, and Bibiane Godfroid, the CEO in charge of content at Newen.<\/p>\n
Gurin said: \u201cWe are excited about France, and about the creative auspices of Newen in particular. The opportunity to create original content with one of the leading companies in France fits perfectly into our brand of international cooperation and collaboration. We hope to launch prime-time concepts, daily series and digital formats that can premiere either in the U.S. or France and then travel around the world.
