{"id":10578,"date":"2017-10-13T01:00:34","date_gmt":"2017-10-13T05:00:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2017-10-13T11:41:27","modified_gmt":"2017-10-13T15:41:27","slug":"bbc-worldwide-to-bring-top-gear-america-team-astronaut-chris-hadfield-to-cannes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/bbc-worldwide-to-bring-top-gear-america-team-astronaut-chris-hadfield-to-cannes\/","title":{"rendered":"Top Gear America Team, Astronaut Chris Hadfield Set for Cannes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BBC Worldwide is prepping special events at MIPCOM 2017 surrounding the launch of the latest additions to its factual-entertainment catalog,<em> Astronauts: Toughest Job in the Universe<\/em> and <em>Top Gear America<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Colonel Chris Hadfield, the first Canadian to walk in space, will attend MIPCOM to introduce buyers to the six-part series and format <em>Astronauts: Toughest Job in the Universe. <\/em>The team from <em>Top Gear America<\/em>\u2014William Fichtner, Antron Brown, Tom \u201cWookie\u201d Ford and The Stig\u2014 will also be in Cannes to discuss the latest incarnation of the <em>Top Gear <\/em>franchise.<\/p>\n<p>Other titles on BBC Worldwide\u2019s slate include season eight of <em>The Great British Bake Off<\/em>, <em>Rick Stein\u2019s Road to Mexico<\/em> and <em>Bang on Budget<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Tracy Forsyth, the genre director of factual entertainment and entertainment and formats, commented: \u201c<em>Astronauts: Toughest Job in the Universe <\/em>and <em>Top Gear America<\/em>, are both superbly produced shows that are both hugely entertaining and exciting with extraordinary visuals and characters.
