Produced by October Films in partnership with Open University to mark the 70th anniversary of the partition of India and the creation of Pakistan,\u00a0<em>Dangerous Borders: A Journey Across India &amp; Pakistan<\/em>\u00a0sees journalists Adnan Sarwar and Babita Sharma traveling from cities to deserts to uncover the stories of those living along the Indo-Pakistan border. The documentary debuted on BBC Two in August.<\/p>\n<p>The company also inked presales for Tern TV Productions\u2019\u00a0<em>Best Laid Plans<\/em> with Foxtel (Australia) and Choice TV (New Zealand). The ten-part series for More Four looks on as architectural designer Charlie Luxton and property developer Sophie Morgan join forces to help ambitious home improvers ensure that their large-scale renovations and extensions are exactly what they are hoping for them to be.<\/p>\n<p>At MIPCOM, DCD Rights will also be offering the second season of Tern TV Productions\u2019\u00a0<em>The Art Detectives<\/em>. In addition, the company\u2019s slate will feature new blue-chip factual content from The Open University, including\u00a0<em>Hyper Evolution: Rise of the Robots<\/em>. There is also\u00a0<em>The City of the Future: 50 Years On<\/em>, from Platform Productions for The Open University and BBC for BBC Four.<\/p>\n<p>Nicky Davies Williams, the CEO of DCD Rights, commented, \u201cDelivered by October Films, one of the industry\u2019s foremost factual producers, <em>Dangerous Borders<\/em>\u00a0is an extraordinary series capturing the true reality of life [on] either side of one of the world\u2019s most contentious borders.
