Twofour and Motion Content Group’s popular Weekender<\/em> brand is scheduled to return to ITV2 for a seventh season next year.<\/p>\n

An extended 10×60-minute run\u00a0of Ibiza Weekender<\/em> will take place on the White Isle and follow new and old cast members on the titular European party island. The new installment will be executive produced by Gyles Neville for Twofour and Melanie Darlaston for Motion Content Group. It was ordered by Paul Mortimer, head of digital channels, and Satmohan Panesar, commissioning executive, for ITV2.<\/p>\n

Neville stated: \u201cWeekender<\/em> provides the ultimate escapism\u2014the warm characters and hot holiday destinations never fail to be an explosive combination. We\u2019re delighted the funny, continuing soap stories of the reps and their holiday charges continue to be relevant and compelling for the audience.\u201d<\/p>\n
