{"id":10344,"date":"2017-07-14T08:00:19","date_gmt":"2017-07-14T12:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2017-07-14T13:12:34","modified_gmt":"2017-07-14T17:12:34","slug":"truly-original-bolsters-programming-development-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/truly-original-bolsters-programming-development-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Truly Original Taps Stephen Mintz for Programming &#038; Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Emmy Award-winning producer Stephen Mintz has joined Truly Original (<em>The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Ink Master<\/em>) as the VP of programming and development.<\/p>\n<p>Joining a creative team led by executive VP of programming, Lauren Eskelin, and executive VP of development, Bryan Hale, Mintz will work across Truly Original\u2019s slate of long-running franchises that also includes\u00a0<em>Vanity Fair Confidential<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Swamp People<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Hack My Life<\/em>, as well as\u00a0<em>Shahs of Sunset<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Summer House<\/em>\u00a0and the upcoming\u00a0<em>Stripped<\/em>, among others. Truly Original also has projects in development for such networks as MTV, TLC, BET, Bravo, Logo and VH1.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Truly Original, Mintz served as executive producer at HISTORY Channel, where he oversaw some of the network\u2019s most successful franchises, including\u00a0<em>Swamp People<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Ice Road Truckers<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Appalachian Outlaws<\/em>, and shepherded several high-profile specials such as <em>The L.A. Riots: 25 Years Later<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Navy SEALs: America\u2019s Secret Warriors<\/em>. Prior to that, Mintz was an executive producer at VH1, where he helped relaunch the iconic biography series\u00a0<em>Behind the Music<\/em>, among other accomplishments.
