A&E Network has ordered 100 additional three-hour live episodes of the original unscripted crime series Live PD<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Produced by Big Fish Entertainment, the series will extend its run into 2018, with a total of 142 episodes. Hosted by Dan Abrams with analysis from Tom Morris Jr., Live PD<\/em> showcases policing in America, following diverse police departments from across the country in real time as they patrol their communities. The series uses dash cams along with fixed-rig and handheld cameras to capture the work of a varied mix of urban and rural police forces on a typical Friday and Saturday night.<\/p>\n
