The CNN original combines archival footage and contemporary interviews with comedy legends and scholars such as Norman Lear, Carol Burnett, Larry David and more. The show explores what makes the comedic mind tick and examines how comedy has affected the social and political landscape throughout history.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Bonney, the CEO of Rights at Cineflix Media, said: \u201cFeaturing candid interviews with some of the genre\u2019s biggest stars, <em>The History of Comedy<\/em> leaves viewers in stitches.
