{"id":10144,"date":"2017-05-22T10:51:10","date_gmt":"2017-05-22T14:51:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/just-tattoo-of-us-gets-a-second-season\/"},"modified":"2017-05-22T12:22:59","modified_gmt":"2017-05-22T16:22:59","slug":"just-tattoo-of-us-gets-a-second-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvreal\/just-tattoo-of-us-gets-a-second-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Just Tattoo of Us Gets a Second Season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MTV has renewed its international reality series <em>Just Tattoo of Us<\/em> for a sophomore season, with Charlotte Crosby and Stephen Bear returning as hosts.<\/p>\n<p>The series, from Gobstopper TV, launched in April and has begun airing internationally in several territories, reaching more than 6.4 million total viewers in just over a month across 12 markets where ratings are available. Season two of<em>\u00a0Just Tattoo of Us<\/em> will air later this summer.<\/p>\n<p><em>Just Tattoo of Us<\/em>\u00a0sees pairs of friends, families, couples and even some celebrities put to the test by designing tattoos for each other. The catch is that the person being tattooed doesn\u2019t get to see the final outcome until the big reveal, after it has already been imprinted on their body. The series is slated to roll out over the next few months in markets such as Germany, Israel, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Spain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m absolutely thrilled that\u00a0<em>Just Tattoo of Us<\/em>\u00a0is returning,\u201d commented\u00a0Kerry Taylor, the senior VP of youth and music, co-head of MTV International and CMO of Viacom UK. \u201cThe show has clearly struck a chord with our target audience, connecting incredibly well with them. We have plenty more fun, surprises and shocks in store for the second season and can\u2019t wait\u00a0to get to work on it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ross McCarthy, the managing director and executive producer at Gobstopper, said, \u201cWe&#8217;re absolutely delighted to be making a second [season]; it&#8217;s going to be bigger, brasher and the tattoos are going to be even crazier.
