All3Media has purchased the production companies Raw and betty from Discovery Communications.<\/p>\n
Raw has gained a reputation for producing a diverse slate of original scripted, reality formats, films and feature documentaries. Its credits include Discovery Channel\u2019s Gold Rush<\/em>, CNN\u2019s Race for the White House<\/em>, BBC One\u2019s The Doctor Who Gave Up Drugs<\/em>, BBC Two\u2019s Conviction<\/em>, Murder at the Station<\/em> and the film The Imposter<\/em>.<\/p>\n betty makes factual television programs and has produced hit shows such as The Undateables<\/em>, Tricks of The Restaurant Trade<\/em>, Ugly House to Lovely House with George Clarke<\/em> and Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners<\/em>, as well as The Autistic Gardener<\/em> for Channel 4, ITV\u2019s Bear Grylls: Mission Survive<\/em> and Everest Rescue<\/em> for Discovery.<\/p>\n Raw and betty\u2019s programs will be distributed by all3media International.<\/p>\n Jane Turton, All3Media’s CEO, said: \u201cRaw and betty are both incredibly strong creative businesses with very exciting production and development slates and hugely talented and well-respected teams.
