Love Productions has been commissioned to produce Paul Hollywood\u2019s new baking series, A Baker\u2019s Life<\/em> (working title), for Channel 4.<\/p>\n

The brand-new 5×60-minute baking series will see Hollywood take a stroll down memory lane to visit the kitchens that inspired him and the chefs who taught him how to cook. From his Merseyside roots to The Great British Bake Off<\/em> tent, Hollywood will whip up brand-new treats and reminisce over recipes that represent pivotal moments in his life.<\/p>\n

Channel 4\u2019s head of factual entertainment, Kelly Webb-Lamb, said, \u201cThe new series will feature Paul\u2019s irresistible recipes and offer insight into the man from Merseyside whose baps and bloomers have made headlines. Love and Paul are already a tasty combination, but we are delighted to be able to give the audience a fresh insight into Paul\u2019s life before Bake Off<\/em>, and how he became the brilliant judge he is today.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richard McKerrow, Love Productions\u2019 creative director and executive producer, added, \u201cPaul\u2019s credentials as one of Britain\u2019s most knowledgeable bakers are beyond doubt. How he came to become such a great baker with a passion for everything to do with baking is a fascinating story that hasn\u2019t been told. We\u2019re excited to be working with Paul and Channel 4 to tell that story.<\/p>\n
