Quebecor Content has aligned with National Geographic to offer audiences in Qu\u00e9bec a selection of documentaries on Club illico.<\/p>\n
The deal covers a dozen documentaries in all, kicking off with Eat: The Story of Food<\/em>, an exploration of one of the most basic human needs and the rich and varied practices our species has developed to satisfy it. Other films in the series include Man V Lion<\/em> (June), Challenge the Desert<\/em> (August) and Exploring China: China’s Grand Canal<\/em> (October), among other fascinating voyages through the amazing natural world and the extraordinary diversity of human cultures. New documentaries will be added monthly on Videotron\u2019s SVOD service Club illico.<\/p>\n These National Geographic documentaries were licensed to Quebecor by Fox Networks Group Content Distribution (FNGCD).<\/p>\n Prentiss Fraser, the executive VP and managing director at FNGCD, commented: \u201cQuebecor Content is an exciting and progressive multiplatform partner with which to do business and we are delighted to have licensed some of our premium National Geographic content for Club illico.
