TV Azteca International’s historical drama Maria Magdalena<\/em> has begun airing on the ZAP Novelas channel in Angola and Mozambique.<\/p>\n

Maria Magdalena<\/em> premiered yesterday on the African network, which is airing the show every weekday at 8 p.m. The 60×60-minute series chronicles the life of the titular passionate woman in an oppressive society dominated by men. It is co-produced by Dopamine and Sony Pictures Television.<\/p>\n

Berta Orozco, TV Azteca International’s sales representative for Spain, Africa, Asia and French-speaking territories, remarked: “It is an honor that ZAP Novelas has chosen Maria Magdalena<\/em> as one of the main productions for its channel; we are sure that the quality of the series will delight the audience and that they will fall in love with its history.”<\/p>\n
