The show, which originated in the U.K., has been optioned by Nigeria&#8217;s EWA Media Productions.\u00a0The game-show format <em>The Cube<\/em> is also slated for adaptation\u00a0in Nigeria, where it was optioned by FanFaceOff Global Entertainment for at least 15 episodes. The original U.K. version sees contestants participate in physical and mental challenges for the chance to win a cash prize.<\/p>\n<p>Several agreements were also signed for finished programming. North One Television&#8217;s Guy Martin-fronted content has been snapped up for broadcast across\u00a0Africa. A pan-territory deal with BBC Worldwide includes <em>Our Guy in China<\/em>, the third season of <em>Speed with Guy Martin<\/em> and the <em>Speed with Guy Martin F1<\/em> special. Discovery took\u00a0<em>Guy Martin: Fastest Man on Two Wheels?<\/em>, <em>Guy Martin\u2019s Wall of Death<\/em>, <em>Guy Martin\u2019s Last of the Vulcans<\/em> and <em>Guy Martin: Our Guy in Latvia<\/em> for its African feed, while South Africa&#8217;s SABC licensed <em>Gordon Ramsay&#8217;s Ultimate Home Cooking<\/em> and both seasons of <em>Gordon&#8217;s Great Escape<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s latest drama deals include the acquisition of the second season\u00a0of New Pictures\u2019 <em>Indian Summers<\/em> by BBC Worldwide, along\u00a0with\u00a0season eight of Company Pictures\u2019 <em>Inspector George Gently<\/em>. Meanwhile, SVOD platform Showmax signed up for\u00a0both seasons of New Pictures\u2019 <em>The Missing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly Shek, sales manager for EMEA South at all3media International, remarked: \u201cWe are continuing to make significant inroads across Africa, and I\u2019m delighted to announce that we are now working at a local level with producers and broadcasters in Nigeria and South Africa.
