Titles include <em>Hawaii Five-O<\/em>, <em>Next Top Model<\/em>, <em>CSI: Miami<\/em>, <em>Being Mary Jane<\/em>, <em>SpongeBob SquarePants<\/em>, <em>Bob the Builder<\/em>, <em>Vikings<\/em> and more, as well as a slate of Hollywood movies.<\/p>\n<p>Ericsson has also picked up pan-regional and local African TV series and movie content from distributors such as iRoko, Trace and Agwhyte International, plus West African music videos from the 960 Music Group. Nuvu subs will initially be able to access 3,000 local and international titles. Content can be downloaded directly onto mobile devices with no additional data costs during off-peak times.<\/p>\n<p>Thorsten Sauer, the head of broadcast and media services at Ericsson, noted, \u201cWe have spent a great deal of time working with distributors to source the very best and most relevant international and local content for our new SVOD service, Nuvu. We created Nuvu to help mobile operators in emerging markets to address a significant untapped market for video content. Africa has some of the highest mobile adoption rates globally and there is a high demand for quality content from consumers.
