Participants and exhibitors will include global and local suppliers of television content, public and private broadcasters, advertising agencies, brand managers and airtime buyers, alongside pay-TV, satellite and mobile operators, independent producers and alternative online distribution platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The event\u2019s program will combine a traditional market, exclusive screenings of new Ramadan programming, international formats and marquee TV series, presentations from influential innovators in the industry and social events hosted by the Emirates\u2019 leading media enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith viewers watching more TV now than ever before, regional co-productions and the trade in adaptation rights continues to contribute significantly to the rapid increase in international sales,\u201d said Patrick Zuchowicki, the founder of the DISCOP markets. \u201cDISCOP Dubai, as all other DISCOP markets, will once again accompany that trend and open doors in new marketplaces that are still difficult to reach.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDubai has already emerged as one of the world\u2019s leading international exhibition centers,\u201d said Nabil Kazan, DISCOP Dubai\u2019s ambassador-at-large. \u201cWith its state-of-the-art infrastructure, world-class professional environment and strategic location, Dubai is fast becoming one of the television industry&#8217;s most important regional hubs, with more than 135 international, regional and local TV channels presently transmitting from UAE in Arabic, English, Farsi, Hindi, Urdu and other languages using NileSat, Badr, Yahsat, Hotbird, Asiasat, Eutelsat 7 and other satellites.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LOS ANGELES: Basic Lead is slated to launch a new DISCOP market in Dubai next year, with the organization forecasting the attendance of more than 1,500 delegates.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":291,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[69],"tags":[188,189,190],"class_list":["post-1585","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","","category-top-stories","tag-basic-lead","tag-discop","tag-discop-dubai"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
