DUBAI: CABSAT 2016 is hosting the all-new Content Congress, which will feature sessions with executives from DreamWorks, Sony Pictures and Netflix, among others.<\/p>\n
CABSAT targets the broadcast, production, content delivery, digital media and satellite sectors across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA). This year’s Content Congress will feature a state-of-the-industry dissection presented by CABSAT, NAB Show and the former\u2019s new Content Marketplace offering. The gathering will debate disruptive technologies, the transition to digital broadcasting and monetizing multiplatform services in a MENA media market.<\/p>\n
Under a primary theme of The Future of Television in a Connected World, the Content Congress will be opened by Eric Ellenbogen, co-head of DreamWorks Studios, delivering a session on how OTT platforms will change traditional broadcasting over the next ten years. Other confirmed speakers include Ashi Seth, the manager of enterprise platforms at Netflix; David Butorac, CEO of OSN; Mohamed Burhan, CEO of CNBC Arabia; Sanjay Raini, general manager of Fox International; Glenn Gainor, the president of physical production for Screen Gems at Sony Pictures; Jean Philip De Tender, the director of media at the European Broadcasting Union; Paul Baker, executive director of film and TV services at TwoFour54; and Marc Eychenne, the VP of international content at Dailymotion, among others.<\/p>\n
