He will work to expand Al Jazeera&#8217;s international presence and global brand. Johnson was most recently on the executive board of Endemol Group, where he was serving as CMO. He prior to that, he was the director of television markets in Cannes for Reed MIDEM. At Al Jazeera, Johnson will be based in Doha and report to Sheikh Ahmed Bin Jassim Al Thani, the director general of Al Jazeera Media Networks.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Al Thani commented:&nbsp;&ldquo;Paul is a first-class executive and comes to us with vast experience and knowledge in the global entertainment industry.
