{"id":4540,"date":"2022-06-06T09:33:33","date_gmt":"2022-06-06T13:33:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvlatina\/roku-channel-launches-spanish-language-hub\/"},"modified":"2022-06-06T12:48:40","modified_gmt":"2022-06-06T16:48:40","slug":"the-roku-channel-launches-spanish-language-hub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvlatina\/the-roku-channel-launches-spanish-language-hub\/","title":{"rendered":"The Roku Channel Launches Spanish-Language Hub"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Roku Channel has added to its offering Espacio Latino, a new destination for U.S. Hispanic audiences that features a collection of programming geared to Spanish speakers.<\/p>\n<p>At launch, Espacio Latino will feature thousands of hours of free movies and TV shows in Spanish, some of which are original and exclusive to Espacio Latino, as well as popular English titles dubbed and subtitled in Spanish.<\/p>\n<p>Espacio Latino will include over 50 Spanish-language Live TV channels, of which more than 25 are brand new to The Roku Channel.<\/p>\n<p>Espacio Latino audiences will also have the ability to add Spanish-language Premium Subscriptions to access and enjoy all their favorite content in one place.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Roku original titles will be available on Espacio Latino, including the recently released series <em>Mamas<\/em>, narrated in Spanish by Zo\u00eb Salda\u00f1a. The all-new Spanish-language Roku original\u00a0<em>Natural Born Narco<\/em>\u00a0will debut on July 8.<\/p>\n<p>Partners include NBCUniversal Telemundo, Hemisphere Media Group, Cisneros Media, Canela.TV, The Weather Channel en Espa\u00f1ol and Eurochannel. Espacio Latino will also feature content from key existing partners Lionsgate, Cinedigm, A+E Networks, BBC Studios, Sony Pictures Television, Film Movement, Pantaya, EstrellaTV, Televisa Univision, beIN SPORTS and more.<\/p>\n<p>Ashley Hovey, head of The Roku Channel, AVOD, said: \u201cThe launch of Espacio Latino marks an exciting step forward in our efforts to create a unified Spanish language experience for millions of streamers to enjoy on The Roku Channel.
