In conversation with Elizabeth Bowen-Tombari, editor at TV Latina<\/i>, Francisco Villanueva, VP and COO at SOMOS Distribution, highlighted the importance of the group\u2019s original series developed by SOMOS Productions and the expansion and consolidation of its catalog.<\/p>\n

\u201cProducing our own series offers an important boost to distribution,\u201d he explained in a conversation you can view here<\/b><\/a>. \u201cIt places the distributor in a direct relationship with the big platforms, allowing us to place third-party content, as they are our most important clients. This gives us the opportunity to have a leading role in the relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the interview, Villanueva also revealed the new productions they are working on, including La muerte del rey<\/i> and Sue\u00f1os y gloria<\/i>, the importance of RCTV\u2019s portfolio and Novavision, as well as the distribution of Greek series.<\/p>\n
