In conversation with Elizabeth Bowen-Tombari, editor at TV Latina, Federico Cuervo, the senior VP and director at VIS Americas, spoke about the company’s main contributions to Paramount+’s growth, as well as the strategies for working on multiple productions simultaneously.

Cuervo is responsible for the supervision and execution of VIS’s strategy in developing and producing original scripted shows and formats for Paramount’s brands and platforms, as well as third parties around the world.

In the interview, which you can see here, Cuervo says: “Our job as a studio within Paramount is to nurture the entire Paramount ecosystem, from development to production, and focus as a streaming-first company on Paramount+. The main contribution we make as VIS Americas is having a local vision to reach our audiences. There is no one better at knowing what our audiences are looking for than us. At the end of last year at Paramount+, we launched Los enviados and Cecilia with a focus on Mexico, beyond the fact that they are very universal stories that can resonate in other countries.”
