Estrella Media and TV Azteca have struck up a content and programming partnership for the U.S. and Mexico.<\/p>\n
The companies plan to partner on creating more than 600 hours of original programming for both the U.S. and Mexico and producing existing series and licensing library content to air in both countries.<\/p>\n
Both Estrella Media and TV Azteca have committed to co-produce original content and specials, including EstrellaTV\u2019s Regional Mexican Music Awards special, Premios de la Radio<\/em>. The companies’ co-produced content will cover scripted and unscripted for broadcast television networks and digital OTT, AVOD and FAST channels.<\/p>\n The exclusive partnership is for a two-year term.<\/p>\n \u201cThis agreement brings two unique Spanish-language media companies together to create unparalleled content for Hispanic audiences in the U.S. and Mexico,\u201d said Peter Markham, CEO of Estrella Media. \u201cI want to take this opportunity to thank Benjam\u00edn Salinas and the teams from both companies, who helped shape this partnership.
