Univision Communications has revealed the company\u2019s 2020-21 programming lineup, driven by sports, news and entertainment content to serve its diverse audience.<\/p>\n
Univision\u2019s 2020-21 slate will feature the release of 11 new scripted titles, including two original adaptations of international hits\u2014 Imperio de Mentiras<\/em> (Empire of Lies<\/em>) and Te Acuerdas de M\u00ed<\/em> (Remember Me<\/em>).<\/p>\n In live event programming and Spanish-language music award shows, Univision is the home of Premios Juventud<\/em> (Youth Awards<\/em>), the Latin GRAMMY Awards<\/em> and Premios Lo Nuestro<\/em>. New for 2021 is Latin GRAMMY Honra<\/em> (Latin GRAMMY<\/em> Honors<\/em>, which will celebrate a genre, a person or a movement that positively impacts the music industry. The network will also launch a series of specials known as Iconos de la Musica<\/em> (Music Icons<\/em>), honoring a distinct musical great through a live concert and in-depth interviews.<\/p>\n Univision\u2019s \u201cDomingos en Familia\u201d programming block features such reality competition shows as Nuestra Belleza Latina<\/em>, Mira Qui\u00e9n Baila<\/em> (Look Who\u2019s Dancing<\/em>) and Peque\u00f1os Gigantes<\/em> (Little Giants<\/em>), with Tu Cara me Suena<\/em> (Your Face Sounds Familiar<\/em>) joining the lineup.<\/p>\n UniM\u00e1s is back with even more premieres in 2020-21, including its weekday primetime competition series Guerreros 2020<\/em> (Warriors 2020<\/em>) debuting this summer. Later this fall, the live reality matchmaking series Enamor\u00e1ndonos<\/em> (Love is Calling<\/em>) will return. Additionally, UniM\u00e1s will bring the Turkish international series Madre<\/em> (Mother<\/em>) and Las Mil y Una Noches<\/em> (A Thousand and One Nights<\/em>) to the network for 2020-21.<\/p>\n TUDN is poised to deliver a number of football matches in the months to come, including the Euros and Gold Cup 2021 to viewers across Univision networks and telecasting a total of ten championship matches. Additionally, TUDN continues to be the home of the U.S.-Mexico rivalry.<\/p>\n Later this year, Univision News will expand its TV and digital programming and launch new shows, including En un Minuto<\/em> (In One Minute<\/em>) as well as a town-hall style discussion show featuring experts and Univision journalists called Q&A<\/em>, available only on Facebook.<\/p>\n Vince Sadusky, CEO of Univision, said: \u201cWith a clear mission to inform, empower and entertain the Hispanic community, we\u2019re playing a more vital role in our audience\u2019s lives than ever before during these unprecedented times.
