{"id":4035,"date":"2020-02-21T10:26:23","date_gmt":"2020-02-21T15:26:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvlatina\/vis-aligns-infinity-hill-spanish-language-films\/"},"modified":"2020-02-21T10:26:23","modified_gmt":"2020-02-21T15:26:23","slug":"vis-aligns-with-infinity-hill-for-spanish-language-films","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvlatina\/vis-aligns-with-infinity-hill-for-spanish-language-films\/","title":{"rendered":"VIS Aligns with Infinity Hill for Spanish-Language Films"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Viacom International Studios (VIS) has signed an exclusive deal with Infinity Hill to develop and produce a slate of Spanish-language feature films.<\/p>\n<p>With a focus on Spanish-language movie production, the partnership will see the projects filmed around the globe featuring international talent both in front of and behind the camera.<\/p>\n<p>Infinity Hill, a new production company founded by Axel Kuschevatzky, Phin Glynn and Cindy Teperman, is making its debut with the action thriller <em>The Doorman<\/em>, directed by Japan\u2019s Ry\u00fbhei Kitamura. The company also co-produced <em>The Intruder<\/em> (<em>El Pr\u00f3fugo<\/em>), directed by Natalia Meta and currently in official competition at the Berlin International Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Federico Cuervo, senior VP and head of Viacom International Studios, said: \u201cThis deal empowers us to increase our development of high-quality, long-form content generating more IPs for VIS. We know the talent of Infinity Hill\u2019s producers and what they can bring to a studio like ours in terms of high-end content.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kuschevatzky added: \u201cFor a rising film company like Infinity Hill, setting up a deal with such a giant as Viacom International Studios is a great opportunity and a marvelous way to create new films aimed for both local and global audiences. Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world, with 460 million native speakers.
