Mit\u00fa, a digital media brand for Latino millennials, has hired three female development, production and marketing execs who will be based out of the company’s Los Angeles headquarters.<\/p>\n
Zadi Diaz was named VP of digital studio for premium content; Gina Reyes has become VP of scripted development for television and film; and Rachel Garcia was appointed as VP of marketing and brand strategy.<\/p>\n
Diaz will oversee short, mid-form and branded video development and production. She previously served as VP of programming and development at ipsy. Before that, she was an executive producer of AwesomenessTV’s Awestruck<\/em> and YouTube’s YouTube Nation<\/em>.<\/p>\n Reyes is responsible for the company’s growing scripted development initiatives for TV and film. She joins Mit\u00fa from Story House Entertainment at Univision, where she was director of content development for English- and Spanish-language scripted series.<\/p>\n Garcia will be charged with managing Mit\u00fa’s marketing, creative partnerships and programs, including its in-house agency. She will also develop the company’s fanbases and lead its B2B and sales marketing efforts.\u00a0Prior to this, she was\u00a0BBC America’s VP of marketing and social media.<\/p>\n Beatriz Acevedo, the founder and president of Mit\u00fa, remarked: “I am so excited to have these amazing Latina executives join Mit\u00fa as we continue on our mission to be the leading cultural voice and brand for Latino youth in our country.
